A FILOSOFIA CÍNICA E AS PERSPECTIVAS ECOLOGISTAS EM EDUCAÇÃO

A filosofia cínica se manteve a margem da história da filosofia, pela sugestão que fazia às entregas aos prazeres e às pulsões, e pela busca da felicidade em vida. Seus adeptos mais notórios, como Antístenes e Diógenes de Sínope gostavam de ser chamados de “os cães”, devido ao modo de vida semelhante. Alheia às posições sociais e/ou religiosas e às riquezas materiais, sugeriu uma prática e um pensamento filosóficos desobedientes e insubmissos, como forma de destituir o que consideravam como os falsos valores da cultura dominante. Este artigo procura enfatizar as noções de zombaria, resistência e cosmopolitismo dos filósofos cínicos a partir da leitura de alguns de seus intérpretes contemporâneos, para depois as fazer dialogar com as perspectivas ecologistas em educação, buscando tecer e ampliar conexões, criando alternativas que possibilitem pensar e fazer educações ambientais libertárias, nômades, transversais e singulares.

Abstract
The Cynics have always been on the margin of the history of Philosophy due to their scorn to worldly pleasures and the pursuit of happiness in life, holding that self control was the key to the only possible good and virtuous life. Their most prominent philosophers Antisthenes and Diogenes of Sinope called themselves, and were called, “the dogs” for living and behaving like dogs. Indifferent to social position, religious practices and personal wealth, the Cynics became harsh critics of dogmatic thought and conventional social etiquette which they often ridiculed as the false values of their society. The reading of some contemporary interpreters of the Cynics, led us to write this article which tries to emphasize the notions of mockery, resistance and cosmopolitanism of the Cynic philosophers, comparing them to ecological perspectives in education, weaving and enlarging connections, creating alternatives to think and do environmental education in a libertarian, nomad, transversal and singular way.
