PALAVRAS E COISAS SOBRE UM PRIMEIRO CINEMA

Resumen

Resumo: Foucault em As palavras e as coisas (1966/2007) se propôs a problematizar as rupturas no modo de pensar e na produção de saberes da cultura ocidental e europeia a partir do século XVI. Para tanto, não recorreu à história das ideias ou das ciências, mas ao conceito de episteme: uma procura pelas condições e configurações das possibilidades que permitiram determinados saberes se sobreporem e se validarem em relação a outros, a fim de observar como se instituiu o sujeito moderno. Por similitudes, procurei contrapor as epistemes Clássica e Moderna com os primeiros anos daquilo que hoje chamamos de Cinema, de seu nascimento oficial, em 1895, até o final das duas primeiras décadas do século XX, objetivando observar circunstâncias de uma episteme presente no discurso cinematográfico.

Abstract: Foucault in The order of things: an archaeology of the human sciences (1966/2007) set out to discuss disruptions in thinking and in the production of knowledge of Western and European culture from the sixteenth century. To do so, did not appeal to the history of ideas or of science, but the concept of episteme: a search for the conditions and settings of the possibilities that allowed certain knowledge overlap and validate in relation to others, in order to observe how instituted the subject modern. By similarities, tried to counter the Classical and Modern epistemes with the early years of what we now call Cinema, its official birth in 1895 until the end of the first two decades of the twentieth century, aiming to observe circumstances present of episteme in speech movie.
