Marcuse foi um filósofo que pensava Eros como uma das instituições constituintes da Estética capazes de fundamentar a emancipação humana. Uma de suas inspirações para fundamentar sua teoria de Eros como elemento emancipador foi à obra A educação estética do homem: numa série de cartas de Schiller. Ao que tudo indica Marcuse busca ali os elementos necessários para fundamentar seu novo princípio de prazer. Nosso objetivo neste artigo é apresentar o conceito de novo princípio de realidade de Marcuse devidamente amparado em Schiller como base de uma teoria educacional emancipadora.

SCHILLER, MARCUSE AND EROS AS BASIS OF A NEW PRINCIPLE OF EDUCATIONAL REALITY.

ABSTRACT

Marcuse was a philosopher who thought Eros as one of the constituent institutions of aesthetics capable of supporting human emancipation. One of his inspirations to substantiate its theory of Eros as emancipatory element was the work Aesthetic Education of Man: a series of Schiller letters. Apparently Marcuse indicates there search the elements needed to substantiate his new pleasure principle. Our goal in this article is to introduce the concept of new Marcuse's reality principle properly supported in Schiller as the basis of an emancipatory educational theory.
